Infrastructure & Utility Inspections
Infrastructure & Utility Inspections includes the inspection and evaluation of aging bridges, highways, buildings, dams, pylons, tunnels and other structures, in conjunction with the engineering teams. Infrastructure inspections with drones are not only cost-saving and quick, but also allow us to carry out inspections of large size structures quickly, accurately, and most importantly SAFELY! But using a team such as DroneX Industries, you can keep your team members on the ground to reduce the risk of severe injury by not climbing ladders or working closely to traffic and power lines.
- Cell Tower Inspection – Keep the signal strong by inspection the electronics on top of towers for issues such as broken wires, bird nests, broken amplifiers, etc. First responders have come to heavily rely on cell service, often utilizing towers for a source of background communication devices.
- Highway Improvement Inspections – Keep the public informed on progress with photogrammetry models, and with a LiDAR scan you can compare the as built condition to the original plans.
- Power Line & Tower Inspection – Working with the power companies, we can provide reports that allow them to evaluate current conditions to assist with preventative maintenance. Everyone is happy when the power stays on!
- Railroad Track Management – Miles of track can be inspected quickly and very accurately overhead, without impeding on traffic and providing current evaluations quickly.
- Bridge and Column Inspection – Up close inspections of bridges can be completed without impeding traffic, to examine current conditions and to see if a more thorough inspection needs to be planned.
DroneX Industries is well versed in the inspection of steel structures and welding as we have an AWS – Certified Welding Inspector on staff, and our background is comprised of building and/or repairing many infrastructure projects. Our team also has a background as first responders, and not only have we seen workplace injuries first hand from climbing and electrical injuries, we also understand how critical our infrastructure is to the safety of our community.
